Since its founding, ALU stays true to its mission of equipping a new generation of young African leaders to transform the African continent. Following its inaugural graduation in June 2019, this second graduation is the continuation of this journey to educating these 3 million African leaders by 2035.
As we go into our next stage of growth, we want to make sure every entrepreneurial leader has the opportunity to attend ALU. So we are happy to share with you the ALU Scholarships 2020; 5 different scholarships that aim to make world-class higher education accessible to all.
ALU Students don’t take a traditional summer break. Our students work year-round and during the summer term, they participate in summer internships, fellowships, business incubators, and many more dynamic activities around the globe. Check out some of the #ALUSummerStories in this article.
It’s easy to call yourself a change agent, generating new ideas is exciting. The thing is, “being” or more appropriately embodying the qualities of a change agent is much harder; it requires new ideas aligned with consistent unwavering action.
For the past 15 years, Tom Siegel has been the Vice-president of Trust and Safety at Google. He is currently setting up his own company in data protection. He recently spent a few weeks on the campus, delivering masterclasses as well as sharing his own experience within a global organization.
