Bachelor of Science (Hons) in International Business and Trade (BSc IBT) is a transformative program designed to cultivate future mission-oriented leaders who can navigate the complexities of global business and drive Africa’s economic integration.
Centered on the continent’s unique opportunities and challenges, the program equips students with a deep understanding of international trade, regional integration, and the strategic imperatives shaping Africa’s economic landscape.
The program fosters a practical and entrepreneurial mindset by immersing students in the realities of African business. Through experiential learning opportunities, including internships and capstone projects, students will apply their knowledge to real-world challenges and contribute to innovative solutions. The curriculum also emphasizes the importance of ethical leadership, sustainability, and social responsibility in international business.
Each student’s journey is unique. We believe that good grades alone are not the mark of a true leader. Leaders come in all shapes and sizes. As such, we are not only looking for those who are at the top of their class, but also those who have stories of impact and tackle problems without waiting for someone else to solve them.
Any prospective student must meet our general entry requirements and the programme specific requirements to be admitted into ALU.
