Claudine Ukubereyimfura earned her BA from Yonsei University in International Studies and completed her Master’s from the Yenching Academy of Peking University, where she majored in China Studies (Politics and International Relations). In South Korea, Claudine had a diverse experience: interning with Seoul Metropolitan Government, volunteering at the Citizen’s Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR), and teaching which is so passionate about.Claudine aspires to become a scholar who will use her knowledge and experiences to help bring East Asian countries and her country (Rwanda) closer together.

Arnaud Michel Nibaruta is a Burundian-Rwandan educator and healthcare entrepreneur. He works as the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Leadership Program Manager at the African Leadership University. He is also the co-founder of Dotpharma, a digital platform of e-pharmacy and virtual health that addresses the challenges of isolation caused by stigma, reduced and delayed accessibility to healthcare products and services, as well as healthcare illiteracy. Arnaud holds a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Management with a Concentration in Global Perspectives from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Development Practice from Regis University.

Herve Musangwa is a Rwandan native and engineering enthusiast, who graduated with honors from The African Leadership University with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science. He began his technical career as a web developer who specialized in backend technology before finally switching to Dev Operations. With this knowledge, he has excelled in his previous roles as an IT Consultant at IMS Ventures and is currently the Software Engineering learning coach at the African Leadership University, where he and his team are educating young moral leaders to give them the skills they need to develop sustainable software solutions for the continent and the rest of the world. Herve values collaboration in cross-functional teams, and knowledge sharing to deliver results. .

Wakuma Tekalign earned his BSc. in Software Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University. He started his career as a system engineer and later transitioned to DevOps engineering roles, where he deployed and managed infrastructure for various software projects. Wakuma’s passion for teaching and helping others learn new skills led him to his current role as a WebStack learning coach at ALU. In this role, he helps instruct students in web development technologies and best practices. Wakuma’s goal as an instructor is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in their future careers. He places a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and project-based assignments to complement theoretical lessons. Outside of teaching, he enjoys staying up-to-date on emerging web technologies and spending time with his family. He is excited to share his passion for software and help the next generation of developers and engineers advance in their technical proficiency.

After landing a work study in facilitating at my university in 2017, that is when I knew that getting involved in learning as a facilitator, trainer, and designer was my passion.It has been more than 5 years now working in education and career development and I really enjoy the fact that students get to learn from me, but I also get to learn from them while pursuing their Foundations pathway.
