Melany Rabideau

DOL, MPH, LBBP

Melany Rabideau brings more than 10 years of health care leadership experience to Optum Advisory Services, with specific experience in transformation by reversing underperforming operations through process improvement, fiscal stewardship, and focus on patient-provider relationships. Through partnerships with physician and executive leaders, she builds results-driven teams to accomplish strategic priorities. As a proven systems thinker, Melany subscribes to an equity agenda designing for quality across the continuum of health services with an emphasis on primary care delivered at a local level. Melany Rabideau also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Global Health Equity based in Rwanda and is a published children’s book author.

Melany has her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Hood College located in Frederick, Maryland. She completed her qualitative dissertation exploring the lived experiences of emerging adult women and studied their perceived value of primary care and the patient-provider relationship. Melany also has a Masters of Public Health in Policy and a Bachelors of Science in Public Health Science both from the University of Maryland, College Park. Melany is a lean six sigma black belt and received Penn Business Journal’s Future of Healthcare award. As a member of the Society of Women Geographers, Melany finds fulfillment in sustainable travel and spending time in nature.
