Fast Company Names ALU Third Most Innovative Company in Africa

Fast Company has named ALU the third most innovative company in Africa in its 2016 ranking of  the world’s Most Innovative Companies. The annual list recognises organisations and enteprises that exemplify the best in nimble business and impactful innovation. ALU was honoured for educating Africa’s next generation of leaders.

According to Fast Company, ALU is “fighting brain drain and convincing Africa’s most accomplished students that they can stay in Africa and get the best education possible.”

Other recognised top organisations from Africa include Protect Worldwide CIC, for protecting endangered wildlife  through technology, M-Pesa for leading the mobile payments revolution in the developing world, Samsung Electronics, for bringing 21st century technology to rural Africa and MPedigree Network for protecting African consumers against fraudulent products.
