You’re invited to learn more about ALU!

If you’re in Johannesburg, you don’t want to miss your chance to hear ALU’s founder, Fred Swaniker, speak about the vision and mission of the new university.

On 19 February, Fred and the team will explain all there is to know about ALU including the innovative learning model, curriculum, application process, the Youth Admissions Representatives Initiative and corporate partnerships.

ALU’s vision is to unleash Africa’s potential by developing millions of high impact leaders who can transform the continent over the next 50 years. Check out Fred’s TED talk to see more about his vision for Africa.

If you’re a young person looking at tertiary options – or you know someone who is – the ALU information session is an unmissable opportunity. The information session is also suited for companies or organizations who are looking to get involved with ALU.

Come prepared with questions or send them via Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #AskALU. Don’t forget to tell a friend about the session.

When: Thursday, 19 February from 6pm – 8pm SAST

Where: Bowman Gilfillan Auditorium, 165 West Street, Sandton

About ALU

ALU provides higher education for a higher purpose. Our students declare missions, not majors.

They develop the real-world skills to take on the world’s most pressing challenges. And they take ownership of their learning from day one through our peer and student-led approach – because ALU believes in the power and agency of young people to start shaping the future right now.

Together with a world-class faculty and staff, our students are igniting a ripple of positive impact across Africa and the world. Join us
