What happens when you bring together bright minds from 13 different countries and drop them into one of Africa’s most historically rich and culturally vibrant cities?
You get Accra Fusion – our first-ever immersive Pan-African experience in Ghana, and an unforgettable start to 2025.
Over the course of six immersive weeks, 22 students explored Ghana not just as a destination, but as a lens through which to understand Pan-Africanism, innovation, and heritage. Hosted in the bustling heart of Accra, the program blended deep learning, cultural discovery, and professional exposure.
Each week featured interactive dialogues with African changemakers, from diaspora thought leaders to visionary CEOs – sparking conversations around what a truly united and future-focused Africa could look like.
Students also took part in tailored externships with organizations redefining Africa’s story:
Beautiful Moments
- Tourpedia Travel – showcasing the continent’s beauty through wellness and travel
- Leti Arts – using games and design to preserve and celebrate African culture
- ShaqApp – building tools for regional integration across West Africa
Outside the classroom, the students immersed themselves in Ghana’s layered history and daily rhythm – from the poignant halls of Cape Coast Castle, to hands-on chocolate-making sessions (with samples, of course), to exploring the pulse of Accra on foot.
Accra Fusion was more than a program – it was a lived experience of what it means to be part of something Pan-African, purposeful, and powerful.
